People Will Think You're Crazy as you Spiritually Awaken

science spiritual evolution

I've been wanting to write about this topic for a while, but I hesitated for so long because it can be scary to acknowledge that you're part of a minority. It can feel daunting to openly say, "I completely disagree with this man-made illusion, and I unwaveringly believe in spirit because I can see, hear, and feel spirit guiding me."

When you've been part of the matrix for most of your life, breaking away happens slowly. You start by testing the waters with family and friends, seeing what they might embrace or completely resist. Will you get a weird side-eye glance at the dinner table, or will they think you've lost your marbles?

For me, the deeper I went into the rabbit hole, the more I wanted to learn. Once you begin exposing the matrix, you will quickly want to rip away the layers of lies to finally embrace the truth. But, like in the movie The Matrix, only some are ready for the truth. So, it can be a lonely journey for some (at first).

Plus, knowing that many people are more comfortable living in a lie than embracing the truth can be heartbreaking.

Breaking Away from the Matrix

I grew up in a family divided between devout Southern Baptists and Catholics. My parents rebelled against organized religion. So, while I did attend church with my grandparents as a child, I wouldn't say I was raised in a religious household. My siblings and I were considered heathens, which both sides of the family felt compelled to save.

As I grew older, trauma defined my life, and I began to feel that God was punishing me.

So, I started exploring ways to redeem myself and find inner peace. Influenced by my father's disdain for organized religion, I studied Eastern philosophies in my early twenties.

When I became a widow, I dove deeper into Tibetan Buddhism and the teachings of Thich Nhat Hanh, which, in many ways, helped save my life. Yet, for most of my life, I did what we are all taught to do: I climbed the corporate ladder, bought a nice house, and started a family. But deep inside, I felt empty. I was anxious, depressed, and felt existentially alone.

My life had been defined by trauma, and eventually, my body deteriorated so fast that I couldn't stop it. Everything hit bottom when I was diagnosed with a neurological disorder that left me bedridden.

As I began to find ways to heal my mind and body, I experienced a spiritual connection for the first time.

And leaning into my strong need to learn, I felt compelled to better understand the science of healing and spirituality. For most of my life, I struggled to embrace spirituality because I didn't want to believe anything out of blind faith; that felt foolish.

Pardon my directness, but I couldn't bring myself to believe in God just because someone told me I should. And I certainly wasn't going to blindly believe that the Bible was the word of God.

Trauma kept me from feeling God; I didn't know that at the time.

I understand it now, and I understand the science of it all.

Experiencing Spiritual Connection

As I began to release decades of trauma and heal my body, I finally experienced a spiritual connection. So I kept learning and researching, and the deeper I went, the more the veil was lifted, and the more I realized how much of a lie I was living.

Yet, the deeper I went, the more I realized that people might think I was crazy for what I was learning and believing.

If you believe something outside the status quo, you're crazy.

Ironically, people on the outside of the bubble know that the status quo is actually crazy.

Do you believe in aliens because you've done research beyond conspiracy theories? You're crazy, according to society.

Have you researched quantum mechanics, proving that life exists outside this planet? You're crazy, according to society.

Do you believe in the power of meditation and how it can literally change your brain and biology? You're crazy, according to society.

Do you believe that thoughts can cause cancer? You're crazy, according to society.

Have you researched how our thoughts can influence reality through the law of attraction? If not, society will consider you crazy.

Do you trust holistic medicine and natural healing methods because you realize that the modern world is poisoning you? You're crazy, according to society.

Have you experienced deep spiritual awakenings and felt connected to a higher power? You're crazy, according to society.

It's frustrating that despite the availability of information and the research conducted by brilliant doctors and scientists, these topics are still considered crazy. YES, we have lots of research and evidence to support holistic health, spiritual connection, God, and alien life.

These ideas aren't actually that wild. Once you begin to wake up and see the truth, it's absolutely dumbfounding how obvious it is.

Yet, if you talk about it, you're crazy.

More People are Waking up to the Truth

Yes, more and more people are waking up, and we are starting to have more conscious awakenings. There is science to this too; energetic frequency plays a crucial role in our spiritual experiences.

As we raise our vibrational frequency through practices like meditation, mindfulness, and healing, we become more attuned to higher states of consciousness.

Energetic resonance amplifies collective consciousness, so as more people wake up, their higher vibrations create a ripple effect, fostering greater shifts in awareness and spiritual awakening across the globe.

But, it can feel scary when you start expressing your beliefs against groupthink, especially if you grew up in conservative mid-west America in deeply devout religious households.

So, as I find my voice to speak the truth more openly and challenge the status quo, here it is. You can call me crazy, but I don't care anymore because I finally realize the truth. God is truth, God is pure love, God is energy.

We can heal our bodies through our minds.

When we focus on something, we give it energy.

We choose to hold onto pain that can make us sick. (most of the time we do it as a subconscious act of self-righteousness)

We can choose love instead.

The Truth About God, Universe, Spirit

God doesn't punish us; we, as human beings, punish ourselves.

And there is no hell or damnation.

Yes, there are dualities in energy that we humans have labeled as good and bad, and some souls choose a path of fear and suffering.

However, we have free will, and that suffering is self-inflicted.

Every experience we go through is a reflection of our choices and beliefs. We create our reality through our thoughts, emotions, and actions. When we choose fear, negativity, and suffering, we attract those experiences into our lives.

When we decide as a soul to keep condeming ourselves and not choosing to embrace the pure love of God, we suffer.

Conversely, when we choose love, positivity, and growth, we align ourselves with higher vibrational energies that bring about healing and joy.

The concept of hell and damnation is a human-made construct designed to control through fear. In truth, we are all divine beings with the power to create our destinies. By understanding that we are the architects of our own experiences, we can break free from the chains of self-inflicted suffering and embrace our true potential.

Why is there suffering in this world?

We must recognize that dualities exist to help us learn and grow.

If we came to this world without the veil (forgetting our true nature and connection to love), we wouldn't be motivated to do much.

The challenges and adversities we face are not punishments but opportunities for spiritual growth and self-discovery. By embracing these experiences with an open heart and mind, we can transcend our limitations and evolve into higher states of consciousness.

Ultimately, the journey of this human life is about remembering our divine nature and reclaiming our power. By acknowledging that we are not victims of external forces but creators of our own reality, we can shift from a mindset of fear and suffering to one of love and empowerment.

This transformation not only heals us but also contributes to the collective awakening, fostering a world where love and compassion prevail.

A few other random thoughts

We are balls of energy floating around the universe. And when we embrace this as the only truth. It really does simplify things.

BTW, I had trouble using the word "God" for a long time. Now, I don't struggle with it because I've removed the organized religion's perception of God from my thinking. God is energy, universe, spirit, and love. We are God. God lives in us and through us.

I think of it as if we are water in an ocean.

Each human is a drop of water.

God is the ocean.

We may feel like we are separate from each other, but in reality, we are all part of one.

How do you know if you're following your spiritual path?

I listened to a podcast with Shaman Durek this week, and he said, "You know you are following your spiritual path when people start to call you crazy." I think he's right. And as I begin to speak more loudly, I expect it to happen, and I'm finally okay with it.

I want to fill a gap in this world's spiritual narrative. I want to use science as the language of spirituality because, at the end of the day, spirit is energy, and we can understand energy through a scientific lens.
